Sam Worley (Texas)
Sam Worley has stepped up big for Texas as the lead man on the Longhorns squad. His best race of the season was the Big 12 Championships where he finished third to lead the Longhorns to a crazy close second-place team finish.
The final edged Iowa State by one point, 41 to 40. Worley also led the Longhorns at the NCAA Division I (DI) Pre-Nationals, where he placed 31st overall. He, like Casey Clinger and Luis Grijalva, sat out of regionals to rest up for his first every 10K at nationals.
