Waleed Suliman (Ole Miss)
Waleed Suliman has been flying a bit under the radar compared to some of the other true freshmen on this list, but he's been an important part of the Ole Miss squad. The 2017 Douglas Freeman (VA) grad has been right in the mix with some of the other guys on this list at some of the seasons biggest meets. One of those meets being the NCAA Division I (DI) Pre-Nationals.
At the NCAA Division I (DI) Pre-Nationals he finished 49th overall and fourth for the Rebels, helping them to place fifth in the loaded field. His other big races this season were at the SEC Championships where he placed 18th overall and fourth for Ole Miss and the NCAA DI South Regional where he placed 14th and was Ole Miss' third man. His run at the South region was particularly big, as it helped the Rebels to beat the University of Alabama secure an automatic bid. They had previously lost to the Crimson Tide by one point at SECs (81 to 82).
