The Junior US Men, led by Craig Novak, placed second in Scotland, while the Junior Women came in third.

The 34th Foot Locker national championship will be held on Saturday. Edward Cheserek looks to defend his title and Andrew Gardner of Spokane is one of the top challlengers. The girls' race should be wide-open but Anna Rorher of Indiana has the look of a champion.
Chery Trapp at Foot Locker
There was much more to Foot locker West than just the seeded races and Cheryn Trapp of Idaho placed third in the girls' Junior-Senior race and Malacai Armstrong garnered third in the combined 7th & 8th grade race. Delaney Clem of Pendleton earned 23rd in the Girls' Freshman-Sophomore race.

Ben Saarel won the individual title and Washington will send four runners to San Diego.

Marissa Williams of California gave a virtuoso performance but Katie Bianchini of Glacier Peak earned a trip to San Diego by placing sixth. Erin Clark finished an heart-breaking eleventh and is the first alternate.

The key news now is that the normal mt. SAC course will be used tomorrow.
The 34th West Regional will take place on Saturday with Mead's Andrew Gardner looking for his third straight trip to San Diego.
Anna Rohrer won at Foot Locker Midwest
The big news for the northwest was the addition of the Summit guys to the filed at Portland Meadows, while 'Super Saturday" witnessed qualifications for a coveted berth at Foot Locker nationals.

Great races as well as time at the Foot Locker National Midwest Regional race. Jake Leingang and Anna Rorher led their respective fields on a day of surprises.
Grant Nykaza of Illinois
Erin Finn, who placed second at Foot Locker national last year, will be one of the favorites to claim a berth again this year but there is a satrong field, which contains Julia Bos, Maria Hauger & Kaylee Flanagan. Grant Nykaza & Jake Leingang also will make a bid for a return.
The Border Clash, which saw Patrick King of Squalicum and Amy-Eloise Neale of Glacier Peak earn victories, was the highlight of the week in the northwest but there was a fair amount of action around the nation. The New York Federation meet saw Saratoga dominate & the Mid-East Meet of Champions was held for the 26th time.

The Washington girls topped Oregon 23 to 32, while the Wshington guys swept the top five places.
Neale & Knight went 1 - 2 once again.
Amy-Eloise Neale of Glacier Peak and Joe Hardy of Seattle Prep triumphed at Eagle island on Saturday and headed a field, which qualified to race in Portland. Here is an in depth looked at the race plus odds & ends from around the nation.
The Washington & oregon State meets went into the books & there was plenty of other action around the nation.
North Central will be tough to beat in the boys' team race, while Amy-Eloise Neale & Katie Knight renew their rivaly amidst challengers, who should not be overlooked.

Travis Neuman & the Summit squads repeated their titles, while Sara Tsai, Jackson Darland & Gracie Grim won their first.Katy Potter upset Alisha Luna and much other action from Lane Community College.

Andrew Gardner, Patrick Gibson & Joe Hardy led the guys, while Amy-Eloise Neale, Alexa Efraimson & Emily Pittis scored for the girls in a brilliant day of racing at pasco.
Kyle Thompson, Paige Rice, Travis Neuman, Alisha Luna & Olivia Powell all look to defend their titles this weekend.
Gardner is but one of the national elites at pasco.
There is so much to look forward to here with Andrew Gardner of Mead heading the bill, while the showdown between katie Knight & Amy-Eloise neale also promises to excite.

Harriers qualified for State in Oregon & Washington, while Idaho crowned their champions. There was a great deal of noteworthy action around the nation including races by Edward Cheserek & Anna Rohrer.
With anticipation of the State races next weekend in Eugene & Pasco a look at Saturday's action in Indiana seems prescient.
