FL 3A Region 3 Meet: Charlotte FL boys ran a stunning 7:45.40 for the 4x800 meter relay to take US#3 in the event. Their splits were 1:53.8, 2:00.5, 1:52.8, and 1:58.1.
Lancaster Regional Qualifiers: DeSoto TX rocked the 4x200 meter relay with a US#1 time of 1:24.19 for US#11 All-Time! Lancaster TX blazed a US#1 4x400 with a time of 3:12.41 with DeSoto right on their heels with a 3:12.99. Lauren Blackburn, Dallas Sunset TX, rolled to a US#4 42.30 in the 300 hurdles and a US#7 100 hurdles performance with a time of 13.76. Lancaster TX girls won the 4x200 with a time of 1:38.76 and the 4x400 with a time of 3:48.96.
Pearland Regional Qualifiers: Houston Westbury TX girls rolled in three relays with a US#2 45.89 4x100, a US#3 3:42.57 4x400, and a 1:36.16 4x200 relay, which is 2nd only to their own 1:35.75! Fort Bend Elkins TX girls were 2nd with an impressive US#7 3:45.33. Dartwan Bush, Freeport TX, threw over 60' with a US#10 63-1.5. Darius Hyacinth, Galena Park TX, won the triple jump with a US#5 49-7.5.
Woodlands Regional Qualifier: Dennis Hodapp, Austin St. Michaels TX, rolled to a US#7 1600 time of 4:11.76 in a deep race! Tim Cousins, John Cooper School TX, was 2nd in 4:12.41, Richard Renteria, Cypress Creek TX, was 3rd in 4:12.93, and Ryan Dohner, Klein Oak TX, was 4th in 4:13.30 while 9 others were under 4:20! The Woodlands TX girls had a nice triple with a 47.38 4x100, a 1:39.67 4x200, and a 3:47.25 4x400.
Amherst Comet Relays: Taylor Burke, Medina OH, is back on top with a 5-10 clearance to join 4 others in a tie for US#1. Cody Riffle, St. John's Jesuit OH, had a great double with a 189-8 discus toss and a 65-3.75 shot put. Colby Alexander, Strongsville OH, went 9:09.48 in the 3200.
Brownwood Regional Qualifier: Lawrance Brownfield, Abilene Cooper TX, blitzed a US#5 10.40 in the 100 meter dash and a 21.27 (already US#5 20.93) to win the 200 dash.
Unity Boys Invitational: Brandon Noe, St. Thomas More IL, rocked the discus with a US#2 heave of 203-7.
Eastwood Dual: Justin Welch, Eastwood OH, went US#3 in the discus with a 202' toss.

Brutus Hamilton Invitational: Ashton Purvis (St. Elizabeth,CA) and Trinity Wilson (St. Mary's, CA) ran unattached at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational at Cal Berkeley. Purvis won both the 100 dash in 11.52 and the 200 dash 23.56 beating her own best time for a new US#1. Wilson took 7th in the 100 hurdles in 13.89.
UCSD Triton Invitational: Junior Ali Billmeyer (Torrey Pines,CA) ran unattached at the UC San Diego Invitational taking 2nd in the 800 with a US#3 2:09.94.
Olentangy Liberty Freedom Relays: Chris Uhle, Olentangy Liberty CA, leapt to a 16-6 OH State Record (old record was 16-4) to claim the #5 spot in the national rankings. Twin brother Joey Uhle recently cleared 16-5 at a dual meet, a US#6 clearance, and also over the old state record! We are sure to hear more from this duo as the season progresses!
Drake Relays: Hannah Willms, IA, garnered some rare air with a US#1 high jump of 6-1. Katie Flood, Dowling Catholic IA, rolled to a 9:43.39 3k victory. Brandon Scherff, IA, tossed a 61-7.25 shot put for the win. Shelby Houlihan, Sioux City IA, ripped a US#2 2:09.22 for the 800 win over teammate Ellen Dougherty, 2:11.81. Katie Flood was 3rd in 2:12.71. Flood was also the winner of the 1500 meter run with a swift 4:28.30 over Houlihan, 4:31.21. Dowling Catholic won the girls 4x800 relay with a time of 9:11.01 over Mount Vernon, 9:15.68. The boys 4x800 was also quick with Indianola winning with a 7:50.62 clocking over Cedar Rapids, 7:52.04.
Harlan "Andy" Anderson Memorial Invite: Junior Chet Reyen (Calmont, CA) won the college/high school 1500 meter run with a US#3 time of 4:00.95.
Florida Districts: Colin Barker, FL, won his District 2A-1 1600 with a US#3 time of 4:10.35! Kathryn Fluehr, FL, double with some impressive times at her District 1A-3 meet with a 4:54.38 1600 and a 10:18.29 3200.
Mario Castro Invitaional: The Flowing Wells, AZ boys won the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 7:53.95. Two time Foot Locker finalist Steve Magnuson (Ironwood Ridge, AZ) won the boys 800 meter run in 1:54.25.
Sanger Metric Classic: Ja-Nia Sears (Edison, CA) doubled in the 100 dash (12.22) and the Long Jump (19-3).
