Mt. SAC Relays: Heat Sheets | Long Beach Poly CA won the girls 4x400 with a US#2 time of 3:43.33 while their 'B' team ran in the next section to record a 3:49.59. Talk about deep! Serra CA was 2nd to Poly with a US#8 time of 3:45.89. Los Osos was 3rd in 3:47.04 while Deer Valley was 4th in 3:47.37. Torrey Pines CA won the girls DMR with a US#12 All-Time and CA#4 All-Time clocking of 11:41.84, run almost completely solo! Loyola CA rocked the DMR with a US#1 10:05.15 to get past Bueno Vista CA, with a US#2 10:07.74. Elias Gedyon rolled to a 4:05.7 anchor split for Loyola. Rio Mesa CA won the boys 4x200 with a US#2 time of 1:25.10. Long Beach Poly CA won the boys 4x400 with a time of 3:16.87. Vanessa Jones, Etiwanda CA, won the girls 400 meter dash with a US#7 54.13. Robert Woods, Serra CA, won the boys 200 with a US#8 time of 21.17. Long Beach Poly CA won the girls 1600 SMR with a US#1 performance of 3:56.03! Redwood CA ran a US#3 3:28.76 for the 1600 SMR. Tiffany Lamar, Paramount Ca, won the girls 800 with a US#7 2:11.91. St. Mary's Academy CA won the girls 4x100 with a US#5 time of 46.39. Long Beach Poly CA boys won the 4x100 relay with a US#3 time of 40.72. Kori Carter, Claremont CA, won the 300 hurdles with a US#3 time of 42.14 and the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.65. Jonathan Cabral, Agoura CA, (US#3) won the boys race with a time of 37.39. Redondo CA, ran a stellar 4x1600, winning with a time of 20:03.48 for 4x1600 which is US#4 All-Time 20:10.50 after conversion to 4xMile. Chloe Curtis anchored with an unofficial split of 4:46! Arcadia CA won the boys 4x1600 with a US#3 17:37.15. Ammar Moussa anchored with an unofficial 4:16.2 split. Harvard Westlake won the girls 4x800 with a US#5 time of 9:13.29. Long Beach Poly CA won the boys 4x800 with a US#2 performance of 7:47.14. Jantzen Oshier, Trabuco Hills CA, followed up his Arcadia win with a 1600 win in 4:13.77.
Utah County Invitational: Kelsy Brown (Mt. View) won the 400 meter run in 57.08. Clayton Young (American Fork) doubled in the 1600 meter run for a 4:22.17 and the 3200 meter run (9:26.23).
University of Toledo HS Invite: Justin Welch, Eastwood OH, had a heck of a triple, highlighted by a US#5 All-Time performance in the Hammer Throw with a heave of 243-2. He also won the discus with a throw of 198-10 and the shot put with a toss of 59-8.75.
Kansas Relays: Kansas Runners On-Site | Missouri MileSplit On-Site | Live Results | Friday Video | Tiffani McReynolds, Pembroke Hill, won the girls 100 hurdles with a US#4 time of 13.73. Emily Sisson, MO, debuted at 5000 meters last night versus collegians, and won the race with a US#7 All-Time performance of 16:20.44. She crushed the field, winning by 36 seconds. Johannes Swanepoel, Shawnee Mission South KS, recorded a US#3 javelin performance with a throw of 215-8. US#1 (49-11) putter Kearsten Peoples, Ottawa KS, won the shot put with a throw of 47-11.75.
Morris Hills Relays: Nick Vena, Morristown NJ, won the shot put with a US#1 toss of 70-00.75.
Hood River, OR: Best HS Throws Triple Ever? - by Doug Binder, Trackfocus.com | ORRunners.com recap | Sam Crouser, Gresham OR, opened up his season in the javelin with an impressive 238-1. Sam also won the discus with a throw of 196-5 (already US#1 205-10) and the shot with a toss of 63-5 (already US#3 66-4). His 5-throw series also consisted of a 229, 226, 237, and 228.
Gus Lacy Track Classic: Anthony Kostelac, Albemarle VA, won the 800 meter run with a US#3 time of 1:51.19. Anthony went through 400 meters at 55s.
Lake Braddock Hall of Fame Invite: Billy Ledder, Gonzaga MD, won the 800 with a US#4 time of 1:52 after going through 400 meters at a swift 53s.
Texas Districts: District 6-5A - Craig Lutz, TX, had a nice double with a US#1 4:09.39 1600 and a 9:01.61 to win the 3200. Connor Adams, TX, was 2nd in the 1600 with a US#4 4:11.64. Kim Kirby, TX, doubled with a 4:59.27 and a 10:50.90. District 20-4A - A'Lexus Brannon, Ozen TX, won the long jump with a US#3 19-10.25, the triple jump with a mark of 40-5, and the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.78. District 11-5A - Keyunta Hayes, Tyler Lee TX, rocketed to the top of the rankings with a US#1 13.71 for the 110 hurdles. Kenneth Minkah, DeSoto TX, the current US#3, was 2nd in 13.76. He also ran US#3 36.83 to win the 300 hurdles while Hayes was 2nd with a US#5 37.23. DeSoto TX boys won the 4x200 with a US#3 time of 1:25.15 and the 4x100 with a US#3 time of 40.81. District 21-5A - North Shore TX won the 4x200 with a US#6 1:26.36 and the 4x400 with a US#10 3:15.68. Jaylon Hicks, TX, went 10.52 to win the 100 dash while Jeylin Reed, TX, won the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.04. District 27-4A - Josh Hernandez, TX, won the 400 dash with a US#6 time of 47.60. District 16-5A - Kaitlin Petrillose, McNeil TX, won the pole vault with a 13-0 clearance for a US#3 tie. George Warren, TX, won the boys high jump with a 6-10.50 clearance while Ashlee Hilbun, TX, won the girls high jump with a 5-8 jump. Parker Stinson, Cedar Park TX, won the 3200 meter run with a time of 9:07.27. District 24-5A - Dartwan Bush, Clute Brazoswood TX, joined the 60' club with a winning throw of US#11 61-7.50. District 5-5A - Adrina Davenport, TX, won the triple jump with a leap of 39-2.25. District 17-4A - Jasmine Cornelius, TX, won the long jump with a mark of 18-11. All District Results Here
Mullen Runners Roost Invite: A late result from last weekend, but an impressive one with an amazing girls 800 meter race. Florida Districts: Complete Coverage | Levonte Whitfield, Jones FL, won the district 7-2A 100 dash with a time of 10.56. Jerimy Strainge, North Broward Prep FL, won the district 14-2A 100 with a time of 10.58.
47th Volunteer Track Classic: Heat Sheets | Joanna Stevens doubled in the mile run with a time of 4:52.33. Isaac Presson, Asheville, won the boys mile with a time of 4:14.01. Maalik Reynolds, Westminster, won the boys high jump with a leap of 6-10. Joanna Stevens, Blacksburg Va, won the 2 mile run over sister Kathleen with a US#1 time of 10:17.47 to 10:20.74. Brookwood GA won the boys DMR with a time of 10:18.86. Jacob Blankenship, Gahanna Lincoln, won the pole vault with a height of 15-8.
