National Elite Stun at The TEN High School Invitational

The TEN High School Invitational showcased some of the fastest high school distance performances of the season, with multiple U.S. #1 marks and all-time top-10 rankings set across multiple events.

Crater High School teammates Josiah Tostenson and Tayvon Kitchen put on a show in the 1500m, going head-to-head with professional competition and emerging with the U.S. #1 and #2 times in the event. Tostenson clocked a 3:40.06, finishing fifth overall and securing the fourth-fastest time in U.S. high school history. Kitchen followed closely, running 3:41.62 for ninth place, earning a spot as the seventh-fastest high schooler ever.

In the 1600m, Grant Miller continued the trend of standout performances, running a U.S. #8 time of 4:08.30. Meanwhile, Landon Pretre made his mark in the 3200m, posting a U.S. #13 time of 8:58.52.

Rylee Blade delivered one of the most dominant performances of the night, setting a U.S. #1 time of 10:00.56 in the 3200m. She crushed the previous season-best by five seconds, set a new personal best by two seconds, and won the race by an astonishing 26-second margin.

In the 800m, Anne Elise Packard surged to a U.S. #4 time of 2:07.89, taking nearly two seconds off her previous best. The race also saw Braelyn Combe finish as the runner-up in 2:09.59 (U.S. #11), while Chloe Elbaz took third with a U.S. #14 time of 2:10.40.

With multiple all-time performances and national leaders emerging, The TEN High School Invitational once again proved to be a stage for elite prep distance racing.
