24. Jesuit (CA)
- - -
Analysis: One of the top returning teams in the most dominant state the sport has to offer, the Marauders bring back five guys who have run 16:15 or faster and own one of the fastest 1-5 splits of any team in the country. After a fourth-place finish at the CIF Division 2 Championships a year ago, junior Isaac Abbott is set to lead his team to new heights and potentially a box on the Nike Cross Nationals Starting line.
For the boys of Jesuit, there is good news and not-so-good news. The good news is that this team is really good and returns key pieces from their 2023 campaign, plus they have the upperclassmen leadership to help lead the team to a deep postseason run. The not-so-good news is that California has a contingent of elite programs, and Jesuit will have to contend with a few other powerhouses to make it out of the state and qualify for NXN. Regardless, this team has the talent to do big things.
