Analysis: Even though Steven Hergenrother graduated in the spring, the Ridgefield Tigers find themselves at the top of the food chain in the Northeast. As the defending New England and CIAC state champions, Ridgefield is used to having a target on their back, but they've proved it doesn't even remotely faze them. With the entire top five made up of seniors, very few teams in the region will be able to match both their experience and their speed. Charles Lovett and the rest of the Ridgefield team are most likely going to be the biggest threat to Christian Brothers Academy's NXR Northeast crown, and both their depth and ability to pack run will put them in a very good position to take one of the automatic bids to NXN.
