Jarvis Anderson meant all business in the hurdles at the UIL 4A State Championships.

His 300mH performance was one of the highlights over the weekend.

From the first hurdle, the Stephen F. Austin recruit wasn't messing around as he was on a mission to win his second state title of the day. After winning the 110mH in 13.64, he came back and clocked the second-fastest time in the nation in the longer hurdles with a 35.96. He was just three-hundredths of a second off from being the top hurdler in the nation in this event.

Anderson added himself to the Texas all-time list as he became one of seven boys to break 36 seconds in this event. His new personal best ranks him as the sixth-fastest boy in Texas history.

During the day, Anderson finished fourth in the long jump and was the runner up in the triple jump with a 49-6 leap.
