Analysis: Last year the guys from Jesuit just barely missed out on a first-place team finish in the Class 6A OSAA Oregon State Championship. Both Jesuit and first-place Central Catholic scored 93 points but
Central Catholic's sixth man finished 33rd in team scoring, whereas Jesuit's finished 48th. This year Jesuit will bring back four of the top five and six of the top seven from the state meet. The team's top returner will be rising junior Jack Bennett, who holds an XC 5K PR of 15:39.40. The Crusaders could again find themselves in a hotly contested battle with Central Catholic for the 6A OSAA Oregon State Championship, as Central Catholic only graduated its top runner from the 2018 season as well. Jesuit's speed ratings at the state meet were 177, 171, 170, 167, 162, and 159.
