21. Sasha Neglia

School: Dobyns-Bennett (TN)

Year: Class of 2020

Notable Finishes: 15th at NXN; 1st at NXR Southeast; 1st at Jesse Owens Classic

Analysis: Neglia has a little bit of that redemption mojo working for her in 2019. A fluke-moment at the TSSAA Division I cross country championships -- she was in first place before taking a wrong turn and then getting DQ'ed -- was less than savory, though Neglia went on to get retribution for it, winning NXR Southeast and then placing 15th-overall at Nike Cross Nationals, an All-American finish. She was ultimately named Tennessee's Gatorade Cross Country Player of the Year. 

So it's last year, best year for Neglia, who hasn't committed to a collegiate program yet but should yield significant interest. She broke 18 minutes for 5K five times in 2018 and had big wins at the Jesse Owens Classic and the TSSAA Region 1 Championships. 

Over the spring Neglia ran a PR of 4:57.12 in the 1,600m, 4:55.03 in the full mile, went 10:35.70 in the 3,200m and 10:26.87 for two miles.
