Week 3: 7/24-7/30
7/24 Sunday:
Rest Day
7/25 Monday:
Regular Run
40min at 7min pace. This run wasn't very fun because it was my first back from my beach trip where I didn't encounter a single hill so the crazy hills at the state park killed me.
7/26 Tuesday:
Kind of a Fartlek
Today was supposed to be 1min, 2min, 3min, 4min, 3min 2min, 1min with the recovery being running back to the starting point. I was dead from the day before so the recovery and the intervals ended up not being too different in speed.
7/27 Wednesday:
40min run at 7min pace. Took it easy today in hopes of feeling back to normal tomorrow.
7/28 Thursday:
Kind of a Tempo
Today's plan was 20min tempo. I still felt pretty crappy so completed the tempo at a less than ideal pace.
7/29 Friday:
Hill Bursts
Today I did 8 sprints up a 250m hill. Felt really good since the past 3 days have been much slower than planned.
7/30 Saturday:
Rest Day
Flew up to Wisconsin to visit family!
