Cooper Teare was the first man out of qualifying for Foot Locker Nationals from the West region last year, but he progressed into one of the nation's most improved runners this spring. He dropped his 3200m PB from 9:15.65 to 8:51.85 to win the CIF State Finals, and his 1600m PB from 4:21.53 to 4:07.78. He also took seventh in the hyper-competitive Brooks PR two mile. Follow the rising senior from St. Joseph Notre Dame, Calif. as he seeks to defend his state cross country title and make his first national cross country meet.
