5. Josephus over Noah Lyles
Yes, technically this is the second week in a row that Josephus beat Noah. But we didn't do this article last week, and more importantly, the MileSplit compare athletes tool has Noah going 26-4 against his brother over the last four years. The only event that they've both run in which Josephus has a better PR is the 400. (And admittedly, Josephus is a much better 400 runner than Noah, 45.46 to 47.50) So it was surprising when J beat N by 0.09 last week and it was shocking when it became a pattern this week, when Jo beat No in an extremely close 60. The times were officially 6.25 (Josephus) and 6.26 (Noah), but it was even closer than that--the photo finish was required to determine the winner. Taken out to the thousandths, the times were 6.247 and 6.251. Watch the race above.
