After two straight weekends of blazing fast action in the South, this weekend's focus mostly shifts to the Northeast. We already did a full preview of the MSTCA Coaches/Elite meet, which you can watch live on MileSplit. Here's a quick look at the rest of the action.
New Balance Games (NY)
The race of the weekend is the matchup between Sammy Watson and Sarah Walker in the 500 at the Armory. At this meet eight years ago, Chanelle Price won the 500 in 1:10.30, a still-standing national record. That's 56 pace for 400 meters carried for an extra 100! Watson and Walker went 1-2 in the 800 at New Balance outdoors last year, and Watson has covered 400 meters in 52 seconds and change. But Price is one of the greatest high school runners of all time. That record will be a tall order.

-New Balance outdoor 400h runner-up Brandee' Johnson is in the 300.
-The girls mile has several familiar distance names including Olivia Sargent and Katelyn Tuohy.
-Nick Dahl, US #8 in the 3K and veteran blogger, is in the boys mile.
