Kevin Dare Invitational (PA)
This meet--named after a pole vaulter who died after suffering a head injury at the 2002 Big Ten meet--is absolutely loaded with elite athletes. There are five girls entered who rank in the top eight nationally in their respective events, including US #1 high jumper Erika Voyzey. Though Mady Clahane is ranked eighth in the nation in the mile, she's entered in the 3K. Dasia Pressley, Chanel Brissett, and Emily Stauffer are sticking to their primary events. Pressley is US #3 in the 200 and entered in that and the 400; Brissett is US #5 in the 60 hurdles and entered in that and the 200; and Emily Stauffer is US #7 in the shot put, her only event this weekend.
