Lafayette (MO) Places 4 In Top 6, Reed Brown of Southlake Carroll Paces Pack In 15:06
Reed Brown edged Devin Meyrer for the individual title, 15:06.34 to 15:06.84, but Meyrer's No. 6 ranked Lafayette-Wildwood team of Missouri proved superior to Brown's No. 19 ranked Southlake Carroll of Texas squad with a 46-point win.
The No. 6 ranked Lafayette Lancers may just be the best team Missouri has ever seen and are proving, weekend after weekend, to deserve their national ranking. The Lancers placed four runners in the top six overall. Following Meyrer, Austin Hindman was third in 15:07, Alec Haines was fifth in 15:14 and Dylan Quisenberry was sixth in 15:23.
