Anna Rohrer Wins Notre Dame Debut
When two-time Foot Locker champion Anna Rohrer decided to stay home for college and attend Notre Dame, the Irish were instantly propelled into the spotlight and entered the fall ranked 7th in the Saucony Flo50. Rohrer and reigning NCAA 10K champion Molly Seidel make for a formidable 1-2 punch, one that surely has Coach Matt Sparks excited for championship season.
2x Foot Locker champion Anna Rohrer continued her winning ways in her collegiate debut
Rohrer made her highly-anticipated debut on Friday in South Bend at the National Catholic Championships, winning the 5K race in 17:20. The Mishawaka, IN native was one of the most highly sought after recruits in the Class of 2015 after becoming just the fifth girl in history to win two Foot Locker titles. Rohrer also broke the national high school record in the indoor 5K this past March, running 16:10 to win the New Balance Nationals title.
Next up for Rohrer and the #7 Lady Irish will be the Notre Dame Invitational on October 2nd.
