MileSplit All-American Team - Boys 100m Dash Presented by New Balance
Clark holds the U.S. No. two time in the country with his 10.18 after holding the number one spot for most of the season
1.Noah Lyles (Alexandria, VA - Jr.) - Noah Lyles has been crushing this post season running some crazy fast times and he's only a Junior! The junior won both the 100m (10.21) and 200m (20.54) at NBNO, and then came back the next weekend to claim the USATF Junior Championship races in All-Time performance fashion! His times of 10.14 and 20.18 rank U.S. No. four and U.S. No. three All-Time.
2. Ryan Clark (Banneker, GA - Sr.) - Clark ranked first in the country almost all year in the 100m until Lyles came along and smashed his mark. Clark still holds the U.S. #2 spot with his 10.18 which he ran at the Caribbean Scholastic Invitational. He finished first in the prelims at NBNO but due to a false start in the finals, he didn't get to run. He came back the next weekend to place third at the USATF Junior Championship meet just behind Lyles and Tennessee college freshman Coleman Christian.
3. Devin Duvernay (Garland Sachse, TX - Jr.) - Duvernay finished sixth at Texas Relays in early March running a 10.56. He definitely ran strong at the end of season with a U.S. No. 3 time of 10.27 to win the highly competitive Texas State Championship Meet.
4. Michael Norman (Vista Murrieta, CA - Jr.) - Michael Norman is only a junior like many of these top guys but he had several dominating sprint performances this outdoor season! Two of those runs came at the California State Meet where he ran what were, at the time, two U.S. No. 6 All-Time performances in the 200m (20.30) and 400m (45.19). That meet earned him a spot in the Dream 100, where he again showed his dominance winning the race with a U.S. No. six time of 10.36.
5. John Lewis (Willis, TX - Sr.) - Lewis had several impressive performances throughout this outdoor season! The senior won Texas Relays in early March, clocking a time of 10.36. At the end of the season, he won both the Texas State Meet with a U.S. No. 4 time of 10.34 and the TTFCA Meet of Champions. He capped off his season running at the USATF Junior Championship meet, where he placed seventh.
6. TJ Brock (Chaminade, CA - Jr.) - The junior was the Mt. SAC Relays champion in the 100m back in late April with a 10.20. Brock is undefeated at the 100m all year! He won the California State Meet with a time of 10.47 and then took second in the 200m, running a 21.26 just behind Norman.
7. Nathanaiel Huggins (Opelika, AL - Jr.) - The five-time Alabama state champion won both the 100m and 200m at the Alabama state meet this year, clocking times of 10.49 and 21.34. His best time in the 100m dash came at NBNO, where he placed third with a U.S. No. 7 time of 10.38.
8. Anton Porter (Bronx, NY - Sr.) - Porter doesn't have the fastest time on the list, but he has several impressive wins throughout the season! He was the champion in the 100m dash at both the New York Relays (10.51) and the Glenn D. Loucks Games (10.69). His victory at the New York Relays earned him a spot to race in the Dream 100, where he finished fourth to some top guys running a 10.58. To cap off his post-season, the senior ran the 100m dash at NBNO finishing third (10.41) just behind Noah Lyles and Nathanaiel Huggins.
