Saucony Elite 50 Team Girls | Week 11

*Editor's Note: The Saucony Elite 50 refers to the top-50 teams in the country (25 boys and 25 girls).

Fort Collins (CO) moves up to #3 after pulling off a big upset at the Nike Southwest Regional, taking down #4 Davis (UT) by a very close margin.  The score was 73 to 74 with Fort Collins' 5th girls one place and .01 seconds ahead of Davis' 5th girl.  US#9 Monarch (CO) finished a close 3rd as well with 86 points.    

At the Nike South Regional in Texas #19 New Braunfels put themselves on the national radar by winning with 76 points, well clear of the field.  #25 The Woodlands (TX) finished 2nd with 101 points and Southlake Carroll (TX) was a close 3rd with 107 points.  Both teams are on the watch list.

Great Oak (CA) moves up to #5 after dominating the Southern Section D1 finals heading into the State Championships with the All-Time team time record and big win.  #8 Simi Valley (CA) won their D2 Section race as well and look poised to win a state title this weekend as well.
