Alexa Efraimson (yellow) won an epic duel with Makena Morley at the NXN Northwest meet.

Saucony Elite 50 Individual Girls | Week 10

*Editor's Note: The Saucony Elite 50 refers to the top-50 individuals in the country (25 boys and 25 girls).  

Alexa Efraimson (WA) was back at it again this weekend, winning the NXN Northwest regional in a CR 17:27.1 after pulling away late in a great duel with #5 Makena Morley (MT), who finished 2nd in 17:36.  #23 Ella Donaghu (OR) finished 3rd, also under 18 with a time of 17:59.7.  

#5 Taylor Werner (MO) also won at the NXN Midwest regional in windy and muddy conditions with a time of 18:36.2.

In Virginia state meet action #8 Caroline Alcorta rolled to the win in a course record time of 17:13.  #2 Sarah Baxter (CA) cruised to a 16:31 victory in her Southern Section final.
