NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field National Championship 2011

  Western Kentucky University junior track and field student-athlete Sharika Smith was honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Monday, being named second-team all-America in the long jump and honorable mention in the triple jump for her efforts at the NCAA Indoor Championships this past weekend.  

Kiani Profit and Dwight Barbiasz helped Maryland to a tie for 28th for the women and a tie for 44th for the men at the NCAA Indoor Nationals.

Junior Jackie Coward of the UCF women's indoor track & field team became the third Knight to earn All-American honors at this weekend's NCAA Championships hosted by Texas A&M. Coward finished third in the 60-meter hurdles, tying her school record of 8.06 in the finals.
