A list of both current and past Virginia high school stars competing this upcoming weekend (June 23-26) at the USATF Junior Nationals to be held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Western Branch's Keilah Tyson is actually the lone current high school athlete from Virginia competing in the meet (in conjunction with her competing as well at the Nike Team Nationals with her Western Branch squad). For the second time in as many days, UCF freshman Aurieyall Scott is a USA Junior Champion, this time in the 200 meters. Saturday afternoon at Oregon’s Hayward Field, the first-year Knight claimed an individual title at the 2011 USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships, just one day after winning the 100 meter championship.
