Entry Restrictions:
Only the first PAID 1000 athletes will be accepted. No Exceptions!

Fees: Pay on-line with a Credit Card $15.00/athlete. Make fees payable to D' Morris Smith Cashier's check or money order. No club checks. No personal checks. On-line payments must be made by 11:59AM CT on 06/12/2025.



Entry Limits:
Teams may enter an unlimited number of athletes in each individual event. Teams may enter an unlimited number of teams in each relay event. Teams must enter a minimum of 4 & may enter a maximum of 6 on a relay.

Prime Elite 1st Annual Track & Field Invitational was designed to promote the Grass Roots Programs. It also gives youth athletes the opportunity to compete in age groups 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U. Only registered athletes will be eligible to compete. Registration fees will be processed through Milesplit.com. Coaches will need to create a MileSplit account before registering athletes for this event. Account registration is free. If you are a unattached athlete, you will have to create an account for unattached athlete before registering. It is mandatory that all youth athletes registration is paid in full June 12, 2025 before noon. If you have registered to compete but have not completed your payment, the athlete will be removed from the meet. No day of meet registration(walk-ups). We want the meet to run on time. Entering new contestants slows things down. You will have until 7PM June, 13, 2025 to make any last minute subs by contacting seth.brower@trackforlife.com If you are a coach and have an athlete get sick overnight, family emergency, etc., you will be able to sub. But your sub must compete in the name of at the meet. AFTER the meet, you can bring your changes to the timing area, and they will be fixed before Official results are uploaded.

Reminder: Eligibility for 18 & Under Division: Senior and high school participants without having performed at the college level in any track and field competition; someone who completed high school in the spring of the most recent school term, and who was not 19 years of age or older on or before September 1 of the most recently completed school term, and has not competed at the College level in any Track and Field competition would be eligible. A boy or girl must participate in only one age division. Participants must participate either in their age division or they may participate in an older age division, however, once the participant has moved up into an older age division they must compete in all events in that same age division.


GOVERNING RULES:
Official High School National Federation Edition Track and Field and Cross Country Rule Book . Starting blocks may not be used by 6U divisions.

FALSE START RULE:
The first false start will be charged to the entire heat for the 4 & under, 6 & Under, 8 & Under, 10 & Under, 12 & Under divisions. Runners for these four (4) divisions will be disqualified should they cause a second false start within that same heat/race. If a runner in the 14 & Under, 16 & Under or 18 & Under divisions commit a false start, they will be disqualified as per High School National Federation Rules.

UNIFORM RULE:
The track and field uniform for relay teams will be one of like colored shirts. Relay team members will be required to wear shirts that are alike in color only and not necessarily alike in style. Bicycle shorts, leotards, bodysuits and girls midriff running tops will be permitted.

EVENT LIMITATIONS: Contestants who are in the 4 & Under Munchkins may compete in (1) event, 50m dash. Contestants who are in the 6 & Under division may compete in only two (2) events, 100m & 200m. Contestants who are in the 8 & Under may compete in LJ, 100, 200, 400, & 800m. Contestants who are 10 & Under may compete in LJ and all running events except the 3200m. Contestants who are 12 & Under may compete in LJ, Shot Put, and all running events except for the 3200m. 8U may only compete in (3) events total including relays. 10U-12U may compete in (4) events total including the relays. Contestants who are in the 14 & Under, 16 & Under, and 18 & Under divisions shall not be allowed to compete in more than three running events, including the relays, and in not over (5) events total. Contestants may enter (3) field events provided they are not entered in any running events. Being listed as a relay member does not count as an event until the individual checks in with the event clerk and actually participates as a relay team member in either prelims or finals. If the individual has already competed in three running events (prelims or finals) they then become ineligible to participate on a relay. A violation of this rule will result in the disqualification of the relay and the competitor who participates in more events than allowed by rule shall forfeit all individual places and shall be disqualified from further competition in the meet. As per High School National Federation Constitution and Contest Rule allows for contestants to choose from any three running events without restriction to the distance of the races.

COACHES MEETING: Coaches may pick up their team packages from the Pick-Up area at 6 am, there will be no coaches meeting. 3 coaches wristbands, and wristbands for the number of registered participants per team. 1 coaches wrist band per per every 10 registered athletes. $5 to replace lost athlete/coaches wristbands.


Athlete Reporting for Field Events:
Field events will begin at 7 am in order of listed age divisions. Athletes will receive three attempts per event. All finals no prelims. Triple Jump and Long Jump take off boards on all runways will be the distance of 24, 32, and 38. Athletes competing in 8U will be the option of a 4 foot or 8 foot board.  Athletes will need to declare which take off board they are using when they check-in for their event. Athletes are not allowed to change their boards during competition. Athletes should practice using distances prior to arriving at the track meet.

Athlete Reporting for Races: All runners must report and physically check-in at the heating area when their events are called. Runners must stay in the heating area when their events are called until their heat is taken to the start line. You will have 15 minutes from the 1st call to check in. You will be scratched if you have not reported to your event area after the 3rd call. All runners will need to report race ready with the proper attire and running shoes. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners in each event. No high point award will be given.

Protest: Coaches, if you have a question about a time or field event mark, please go through the Meet Referee and not the timing tent. Once results are posted at MileSplit.Live, you will have 30 minutes to register your protest with the Referee. The protest fee is $75.00, which will be refunded if a result is changed. NO corrections for entry errors will be made at this time. All entry errors should have been addressed prior to Thursday, June 12, 2025, at noon by established deadlines.



This track meet will operate on a rolling schedule. Please make sure athletes are present at the initial start time of each event. We will not wait on anyone not present at the start of their race or field event.




No parents or spectators will be allowed on the field. Permitted attendees are coaches, athletes, officials, timers, workers, and media.




All athletes/coaches, officials, timers, workers, and media will need a wristband! You will not be allowed on the field without a wristband!




Prime Elite Sports will provide athlete's water on the field for hydration during the meet. Hydration stations will be available.


Standing on the walk way or rails will not be permitted. Spectators will need to sit in the stands. Please do not block the view of other spectators.


No tents will be allowed on the home side period! Umbrellas will only be allowed at the top of the home side. Please do not block the view of other spectators. Team tents and umbrellas will only be allowed in the designated areas of the visitors side and home side of the stadium. Coaches please notify your team parents prior to the meet. Please see stadium map for all designated locations.


NO TENTS OR UMBRELLAS IN THE PRESS BOX SECTION OF THE STADIUM PERIOD!
The track will close at 8:20 am. Tent City will be located on the practice field area outside of the stadium. This area will be available after the discus events are finalized.

After discus, teams can set their tents up around the practice field at 9:00 am. The practice field will be open for warm-ups during the duration of the track meet.



One team cooler will be allowed per team and must be checked-in at the team check in area. Coaches please notify your parents that individual water jugs and small hand held coolers are allowed.
