An athlete will only be allowed to compete in 4 events over the two meets.
The two meets will be scored as 6 double dual meets against all opponents in yourdivision. Team champion determined based on the team with best record. If there is atwo way tie, the team that wins head to head wins the division outright. If there is athree way tie, there are three division champions.
6 team meet dual meet format
3:30 start -- The meet will count as an INVITATIONAL
All entries must be on mile-split by 6:30 pm the night PRIOR to the meet.
There will be a ZOOM Meeting approximately 2 hours after the entries are due (ane-mail will go out well in advance) to discuss individual team athletes that may want tomove into a top heat (i.e. a coach was conservative with a seed time, the distance race isnot seeded as fast as expected and one want to see if there top runner can compete,...)
Changes can still be made when teams arrive. We are hoping to have few changes. Allchanges made at the meet are SUBSTITUTION only!
All sections will run slow to fast; however, athletes can place out of the slow section.
All seed performances will be entrusted to the coaches. Coaches will have the option toplace their top athlete in the fastest heat.
Throws and jumps will be divided into two-three flights 4 attempts per athlete (NOFINALS).
All events are girls first and then boys follow.
In the event of a tie in time, jump or throw, points will be evenly divided in the dual meetscoring. There will be NO JUMP or VAULT-OFF in the PV or HJ (NFHS rules for a dualmeet expect a jump-off).
Dual meet results will determine the Division Champion.
Time schedule on the track will be followed - we will not run ahead!
