Meet Information
Wind River Icebreaker High School Track Meet
The annual Wind River High School Invitational Track and Field meet will be held on March 22, 2025. Coaches/scratch meeting will be at 8:30 in the crows nest and all field events will start at 9:30 and running events will start at 11:00.
The entry fee for this meet is $150.00. We will gladly trade entry fees with other teams whose meets we attend.
The Wind River track and runways are all-weather and spikes no longer than 1/8 will be permitted. The shot and discus rings are concrete. We will be adhering to the National Federation Handbook and all state rules. This meet is a state qualifying meet.
There will be no pole vaulting.
ENTRIES: All entries must be in Milesplit before Wednesday March 19, 2025 at noon. After that time coaches will not be able to add an athlete.
We will not allow any additions or changes, only scratches, on Saturday morning.
**Teams are allowed to enter up to two relay teams, whatever team places the highest will be the scoring team.
AWARDS:We will have awards for 1st through 3rd places.
COACHES: We could use your assistance with hurdle set-up and removal as well as relay exchange judges. Thanks in advance for your help!
TEAM CAMPS: No camps will be allowed on the football field. Camps should be located in the stands or on the grass at the west or south end of the track. Please monitor and clean up your team camp area. Trash bags can be obtained from the crows nest.
RESULTS: Will be posted as soon as we finalize the meet
HOSPITALITY: Hospitality room for meet officials, coaches, and bus drivers. It is located in the music room of the main building west of the jumping pits.
WHSAA State Qualifying Mark Form: Can be obtained in the crows nest
LONG/TRIPLE JUMPS: Competitors will have four (4) jumps scored as finals.
SHOT/DISCUS: All implements must be weighed and registered at the track shed by the inspector of implements. Competitors will be given four (4) attempts which will be recorded as finals.
