SJ Middle School 4x100m Penn Relays Qualifier 2025

WHAT:

South Jersey Public Middle School Penn Relay 4x100m Relay Trials

WHO:

The race is open to South Jersey middle schools that send students to high schools in the Burlington County Scholastic League, the Olympic Conference, the Tri-County Conference, the Colonial Conference, and the Cape Atlantic League.

NOT OPEN TO CLUB TEAMS or ALL-STAR TEAMS FROM SEVERAL SCHOOLS

WHERE:

Pennsauken High Schools Vince McAneney Stadium

DATE:

Thursday, April 9th, 2025 

TIME:

The first heat starts at 4:30 PM. Heats will be randomly seeded.

ELIGIBILITY:

6th, 7th, and 8th graders who have yet to attain the age of 16 on or after September 1st, 2024.

RELAY TEAM:

Each school is allowed one (1) boys team and one (1) girls team. Six names will be listed on the entry blank, with the 4 participants identified on race day. 

The Penn Relays will only provide 5 TOTAL tickets for each qualifying team.

FEES:

$20 per relay, check made out to Pennsauken High School ($40 total for boys & girls)

AWARDS:

Medals to the top-3 boys and girls teams

RACE FORMAT:

Heats will be randomly seeded. The top 9 performers BY TIME will advance to The Penn Relays on Thursday, April 24th, with race time at approximately 10:10 AM. 

Times will be hand times conducted by Pennsauken High School Varsity Coaches. Pennsauken will provide a starter.

SPIKES ARE ALLOWED

QUALIFIERS GET 5 TICKETS (1 COACH, 4 ATHLETES) per qualified team. If both of your teams qualify, you will get 10 tickets. MEET DIRECTOR DOES NOT HAVE EXTRA TICKETS.
