Additional Instructions for Elite 1-Mile: The Elite 1-Mile is an INVITE ONLY event in which all invited runners will not be charged entry and will receive a swag bag. Invites have been extended to all runners in the 1600m/1500m at the NY Indoor State Championships, and bordering states. In addition, invites have been extended to all athletes in NY who have run under 4:32 in the 1600m and under 4:55 in the 1500m by 4/29/2025. Conversions for other distance races will be accepted on a case by case basis. The field will max out at 16 runners and an event entry sheet will be released on Tuesday, 4/29/25. If the entries exceed 16 runners, the top times will be taken and there will be a wait list. All athletes who run will receive New Balance merchandise as part of their swag bag. Please note: runners who do not meet the entry standard requirements of the Elite 1-Mile will be removed from the event and it is the coachs responsibility to enter them into the open 1500m/1600m.
