Meet Information
Morgan County will host 3 All-Comers Track Meets on Thursday evenings this spring. April 24. May 1. May 15.
No entry fee - no awards given out. Just good competition on our newly re-surfaced track.
Please register your team to compete on kymilesplit. You do not need to enter your athletes in their individual events. Our timer will pull your roster and assign competitor numbers
BUT - please make sure your rosters are current !!! So our timer can pull your roster from milesplit and assign competitor numbers. Delete athletes who are no longer in school and/or no longer on your team, please. We have found that rosters are often not current, thus resulting in far more comp numbers being issued than necessary. Thank you for your help with this.
All regular track meet events will be contested, including pole vault. If you have unified athletes, please email or text me that information ahead of time so we can plan for their participation.
Field events will begin at 5:30 and running events at 5:45. Plan to supply one person (a coach or involved parent/fan) to assist with field events please.
We do offer 4 events at our home varsity meets for elementary athletes as well (6th grade and under): 800 (before the opening 4x800 relay), 100 (after varsity 100), 400 (after varsity 400), and long jump (after varsity long jump). You will need to make sure these athletes are on your roster so that we can assign their competitor numbers as well.
The meets will close to entry at 9:00 pm the Monday prior to each Thursday meet.
Admission is $5 per adult. Students free. Cash only. No parking fee. Concession stand available.
