Meet Information

Where: Pulaski County Middle School, 4396 Lee Highway Pulaski, VA 24301

This is the first year the Pulaski County Middle School will host a Saturday Meet. 

VHSL Track & Field rules will be followed. An athlete may do 3 running events and as many field events. (3200m counts as two)

Bus Parking/Drop-Off: Drop off athletes near track. There is 1 entrance/exit to the lot at Pulaski County Middle School. Buses should enter the PCMS entrance, follow the road and stay to the right around to the track and drop athletes. Parking for buses will be in the parking lot opposite end of the track from athlete drop-off. 

Admission: $6:00 per person, $4 for children (Cash or card) each person entering the gate will receive a ticket that will allow them to leave and re-enter the facility. 

Team fee: $50 per boys team/$50 per girls team ($100 for both) please have your check at check-in/packet pickup

$10 per individual (5 individuals - team)

There will be a 15 team limit. You must contact Coach Hodge in order to secure your spot. (blwhittak@radford.edu)

Concession Stand: Looking for local vendors please stay tuned. 

Spikes: Please use ONLY 1/4 in pyramid spikes, there will be no spike check so we ask coaches to make sure their athletes have the appropriate spike length.

Warm-up Area: there will be no warming up inside the track circle

Trainer: We will have a trainer, but she will be used for emergencies only. 

Team Camps: Team camps will be on the far side of the track, opposite the spectator area. The front straight will be used as the spectator sides and NO team camps may be set up there.

Spectators: There are no seats for spectators but the area sits up on a hill allowing for great viewing of the whole track, we suggest you bring chairs, blankets etc. to sit on.

NO POLE VAULT at this meet

Throws: First throw will be marked, after there will be a minimum to record. Minimum will be posted at a later time. 

Entries will be limited to 4 per running events, 4 per field event, 2 relays.

9:00 3200m Starts (limit of 2 entries per team per gender, there will be a cut off time) 

Girls Discus followed by Boys

Boys Shot Put followed by Girls

Girls and Boys Long jump followed by Girls and Boys Triple Jump

(Girls jump pit is closest to the 100m start line/ Boys pit is closest to the 200m start line)

Girls High Jump followed by Boys

*If an athlete is in multiple Field Events they will have to let the official running those events know
