(GHSA Region 4A-D1) 2025 Boys & Girls Track and Field Championships
GENERAL INFORMATION
All lane races, unless adjusted at the scratch meeting, will be run in two heats
Sat. April 19th: 9:00 a.m. Scratch Meeting TBD
9:30 a.m. Implement Weigh-In
Awards: 1st and 2nd place boys and girls region 4-AD1 Team trophies. Medals and ribbons 1st - 8th place. Coaches have your athletes report to the awards stands for medal. High Point Award tor female and male. (This is the only time athletes will be allowed on the infield area)
Heats/Flights:Times/distances and heights must be accurate and checked against milesplit.

Athletes Seating: TBA
Fans seating: All fans will be seated on the home side of the stadium. No fans allowed in the field event competition area except designated areas for viewing.
Tents: can be placed at the top of the bleachers or the grassy areas.
Seeding: If scratches/substitutions drastically alter the balance between heats, these heats will be reseeded before the running the event. Any change will be announced in a timely manner. The scratch meeting is for scratches and substitutions only, no additions. Once the meet begins there will be no replacement for scratches per GHSA. (Make sure all athletes are listed on your relay cards match the entries on milesplit.
Relay Cards: All athletes competing on a relay must be listed on the appropriate relay card.
Spectators: No fans allowed on the visitor side or in the competition areas.
Warm-up: TBA
FIELD EVENTS: nine (9) competitors to Finals in horizontal events (jumps and throws); vertical events should conclude after clear 9th and 10th place finishers have been established for Replacement Purposes

RUNNING EVENTS: (The 4x800 Meter Relay should not start before all field events are completed. Running schedule may be adjusted, if necessary, due to Field Events and/or weather delays. However, the time increments between running events should be maintained to ensure adequate recovery time between events.) (The order of running events will be Wheelchair, Ambulatory, if needed, then girls/boys.)
