Jerry Womack Storm County Meet
Join us for an exciting track and field event hosted by Hopkins County Central High School! This meet is open to all schools in Hopkins County, including Madisonville North Hopkins High School and Dawson Springs High School, with the goal of fostering camaraderie and providing every athlete with the opportunity to achieve personal records.
When: Coaches' Meeting at 4:00 PM at the starting line. Field and running events begin at 4:30 PM (or 20 minutes after the final bus arrives).
Who: Open to all high school and middle school athletes in Hopkins County Schools.
Registration: Free for all participating schools. Registration closes on Wednesday, April 16th at 12:00PM noon.
Entry Limits: No restrictions for individuals or relay teams-come ready to compete!
Gate Admission: Cash only. $7 per person. 10 and under- Free.
Concessions: All-cash concession stand available for food and drinks.

Field events will operate in a combined, cafeteria-style format, starting at 4:30 PM.
We will run high school running events first, in their own heat, with middle school to follow each event. Relays, 800m, 1600m, and 3200m may be combined to save time.
Running events like the 4x800, 1600m, and 3200m may be combined to save time, depending on the number of entries.
Order of Events:
4x800 meter relay
100 meter dash
4x200 meter relay
1600 meter run
400 meter dash
800 meter run
200 meter dash
3200 meter run
4x400 meter relay
Medals will be given to all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place high school finishers and all 1st place middle school finishers in each event. If results are finalized by the end of the night, medals will be given to winners at the meet. If results are not finalized, they will be sent to corresponding schools to be handed out by individual coaches.
