SPIRE TWILIGHT INVITATIONAL - MAY 17, 2025
4:00 - 10:00 p.m. Alexandria, VA
Come run under the lights in the 6th annual Spire Twilight Invitational. Teams, clubs and unattached athletes are welcome to this competitive event. FAT Timing with live results and finish line pictures. Food and custom Spire Twilight t-shirts available.
ENTRY INFORMATION:
Middle school and High school divisions - each team is allowed 4 athletes per event and 2 relays per event. Exceptions - Discus - 3 entries, HJ, 300 hurdles - HS only.
ORDER OF EVENTS:
Rolling schedule. Girls first, then boys. MS then HS.Exception 100/110 hurdles: MSG, HSG, MSB, HSB
Track opens at 3:00.Field events begin at 4:00, running events at 4:30. Rollingschedule.
Coaches meeting at 3:30 by the start line.

*3200m - time standards will be boys - sub :13:00; girls - sub :15:00.We might potentially loosen those restrictions
if there is space in the event.But because of the time constraint on the track, it has to be kept to one heat.
FIELD EVENTS:
Entries must have Milestat recorded marks to enter for Disc, Shot and High Jump
Only 3 entries allowed for discus.
HS only for high jump.

Shot Put weights: HSB - 12#, HSG/MSB - 8.8# (4kg), MSG - 6#
Discus weight: HSB - 1.6kg; HSG/MSG/MSB - 1kg
PAYMENT:
Entry fee: $150 middle school team; $150 high school team. ($300 total for MS/HS team). Unattached athletes: $20.
Payment due at time of registration and received before race day - paid via check, made payable to Spire.

TEAM INFORMATION:
Results and fully automated timing provided by Windsor Running.
No team tents on infield.
Each team should bring their own blocks, batons and water containers.
CONCESSIONS:
Concessions and custom t-shirts will be available for sale.
