Meet Information
General Information:
o Cost is $100 per gender. Please send checks to Seminole High School (c/o Track and Field) 8401 131st St. N. Seminole, FL 33776
o You cannot register without approval of host school. Please contact Coach (Raz) Rasmussen at rasmussenw@pcsb.org.
o All Registration will be completed through www.directathletics.com. Registration deadline is February 19, 2025 at 11:59pm. NO changes will be accepted after registration deadline. On race day, only scratches can be made; NO substitutions or entries.
o Entry Rules: Coaches may enter up to FOUR athletes per event in field and running events and ONE relay/event per gender. All athletes with no entry marks will be given no seeding time and seeded last. All Finals are Heats against Time.
o Awards: The top 3 finishers in each event will receive medals.
o ALL TEAMS MUST SET-UP CAMP ON VISITORS SIDE OF FIELD. GATES WILL OPEN FOR TEAMS AT 2 PM.
o There will be a $7 entry fee for patrons, so please share this information with athletes' families. Tickets available at gofan.co
Schedule of Events:
o Javelin starts at 2:15 p.m.
o Coaches Meeting at 2:45 p.m.
o 4x800 is at 3:00 p.m.
o Field Events start at 3:00 p.m.
o Consolation mile at 4:00 p.m
-Girls/Boys Long Jump, Triple Jump to follow (Each gender has their own pit. Boys west pit; Girls east pit)
-Girls Discus, Boys to follow
-Boys Shot Put, Girls to follow
-Girls Pole Vault, Boys to follow
-Boys High Jump, Girls to follow
*Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus. Each athlete gets one recorded mark. If in top 8, they will be given two additional recorded marks.
**Athletes must meet FHSAA regulations for pole vault (weight of athlete can't exceed correctly marked pole). Bring appropriate and correct implements to the throwing areas.
***Opening Heights will be established at the coaches' meeting for both high jump and pole vault.
