Bus Parking: All Buses need to park in the lot at the Lincoln Road entrance. All teams will enter the stadium at the visitor's gate behind the visitor's field house at the scoreboard end of the stadium.
York Comprehensive High School is pleased to welcome youto the Cougar Den forthe 2025 Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic.All spikes are to be inch pyramid spikes. We have a new track surface,and we must be aspreventative as possible. No tape will be allowed on the track; we will provide tennis ball halves as markers. The long/triple jump and pole vault runways are already marked with numbers.
We have a synthetic turf playing surface. Please remind your athletes that NO FOOD, DRINKS, CHEWING GUM, SUNFLOWER SEEDS, etc.... will be allowed inside the track area. SCHSL rules will apply in reference to electronic devices,pacing,etc. When setting up your tents at the stadium, we ask that you only put tents on the top rows of bleachers on thevisitors' side of the stadium.All athletes will be seated on the visitor side of the stadium (In the Stands).AllSPECTATORS will enter on thehome side of the stadium. Please advise your athletes that no one will be allowed on the infield once the meet begins.The warmup area will be located on the upper practice field near the bus parking lock.Head Coaches will have access to all areas with their provided head coaches pass. One coach for horizontal and vertical jumps will be allowed in the coaches' box with their given coaches pass.
The meet will be timed electronically by Chad Mitchell (Mitchell Timing Inc)mitchelltiming@gmail.com. The meet will have live results posted on mitchelltiming.com. Pleasehave at least one coach to assist with the following events: Triple/Long Jump, Exchange Zones, and Throws. Please send the names of your coaches prior to the meet. You may also signup by using Signup Genius.With everyone working together, we hope to run an efficient meet.
Athlete Check In:Athletes need to check-in 30-45 minutes prior to their event.
Athletes will check in at the tent located near the visitor field house.Check in table will be located at the red tent. Only athletes in the 4x400, 4x800, and athletes in non lane races will need to check in to get hip numbers. All other athletes will report to the staging area at the end of the track near the start finish line at their appropriate event time.
Trainers:The athletic trainers will be located by the home field house near the High Jump and Pole Vault area.
Running Events:
No trials in any of the running events, all finals.
Field Events:
For throwing events and horizontal jumps, 4 attempts with no finals. Only one coach per team will be allowed on the infield to coach their athlete per jumping event. No Exceptions!
High Jump and Pole Vault:
Starting heights will be 1.25m (4'1") for the girls and 1.55m (5'1") for the boys in the High Jump.For the Pole Vault the girls starting height will be2.15m (7'0) and the boys will be 2.75m (9'0).
