* FCA will be doing a quick positive message huddle in scoreboard endzone at 3:15.Optional, but ALL are welcome to attend.
** Because of having to hand time the meet, we will run heats of 6 in sprint events. Only exception will be if we have 7 teams in a sprint relay. One combined heat in 3200. One section of girls, one section of boys in 1600. We will try to do the same in 800 but MIGHT have to run 2 sections in boys

1)Field events: Thank you to North Henderson (discus) and North Buncombe (pole vault) for volunteering to run off and be in charge of these two field events. We have everything else covered in the field and will not need any other assistance here.
2)Running Events: Unfortunately, Slipstream Timing canceled on us at the last minute and we have to hand time the meet. Running events are where we now need help.Schools, please provide one person per school to assist in timing. Here are assignments: 1st place: Mountain Heritage 2nd place: Owen 3rd place: East Henderson 4th place: North Buncombe 5th place: Shining Rock Classical 6th place: Christ School 7th place: Enka
3)Break line: Dean Duncan (1600, 800, 4x400 Relay)
4) Exchange zones: Enka will handle
5) One last note: Since we only have 2 girls teams and 3 boys teams entered in the 4x800 relay, we will combine these two events as long as all coaches with participating teams agree.
- Field Events begin at 3:30
- Running events start at 3:45. Rolling time schedule
- NO ENTRY FEE.
- Each team will be assigned to work a field event and/or a relay exchange zone. If you have a preference, please contact Coach Cannon or Coach Sherrill before Tuesday.
- Concession stand will be open for spectators.
- Park buses in lot adjacent to tennis courts and enter through visitor ticket gate. Buses will need to enter school through back (swimming pool) entrance
- Registration closes Monday at 6:00 pm
Field Events: Entry limit - 5 athletes per team in each individual event
Shot put - girls followed by boys Discus - boys then girls 4 throws, no finals
Long Jump and Triple Jump - Open pit until 6:00 4 jumps, no finals
Pole Vault - girls then boys, opening height TBD High Jump - boys then girls opening heights B:5'4. G:4'2
Running Events: Entry limit - 4 athletes per team per individual event 1 relay team per school in each relay event
Will only combine girls and boys in 3200 run. All others will be girls, then boys. Fast heats/sections run first
