OCS Relays 2025

The 2025 OCS RELAYS will be held at Ouachita

Christian School on FRIDAY, March 7^th.  

Entry Fee will be $75.00 per boys' team and $75.00 per

girls' team ($150 per school) and can be mailed to Ouachita Christian or

brought on the day of the meet. Checks will be made to Ouachita Christian

School.

Registration

will take place through LAmilesplit.com. Please have the

entries done by NOON on Thursday, March 5th.

Further Instructions:

*Tents are only allowed on the TOP ROWS of the Stadium.Bleachers may be used on BOTH

sides of the field.No Camping on the turf as we do not want food

and drink on the turf.

*Spikes: 1/4 pyramid.

*PLEASE USE CHALK or Rubber Strips that we will provide instead

of tape for RELAYS.

*Meet will be

conducted according to LHSAA rules.

*Please bring your own blocks.

*We will have places in the BACK

Parking lot designated for your buses.

*Restrooms are located adjacent to

the concession stand.

*Check-Ins: The 100/110 Hurdles & 100 Meter Dash will check in at their start area. ALL other check-ins will

take place at the Benches located near the 25-yard line.

Awards: 

Medals to

top 3 in individual events.Team trophies

will be awarded to 1^st and 2^nd place overall.

At the

conclusion of the meet, High Point Awards will be given for the Track, the

Field, & the Overall. Please send your nominations for these awards to

Coach Fitzhugh during the 3200 Run.

FIELD EVENTS:ALL

throws and jumps will have three attempts.

LONG Jump -

Boys/Girls (New Pit behind the scoreboard- Be advised

in advance that the Runway for Long Jump is only 100')

TRIPLE Jump - Girls/Boys

will jump on the pit in front of the scoreboard.

HIGH JUMP -

Boys/Girls to follow

SHOT PUT - Boys /

Girls to follow (Ring on the West end of lower field)

DISCUS - Girls / Boys

to follow(Ring on the South end of the

field)

(We have 2 Shot & 2 Disc Rings. Throwers

will be paired into two flights with the top 10-12 competitors in the same

flight).

POLE VAULT - Girls /

Boys (athletes enter at desired height)

JAVELIN (Located behind the Tennis court) - Boys / Girls to

follow

Athletes who are involved with field events with a bar will

do those as priority and will be allowed to do other field events when

completed with the bar events.
