Taking 6 - 7 middle school teams, please contact Coach Johnson dyeravis.johnson@carrollcountyschools.com for the password!

Meet will be timed by Fast Feet Timing. Entry fees for Middle Schools teams are $200 for both genders and $125 for one gender. Registration must be completed by Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 12:00 Noon. Up to 4 competitors per running event, 3 competitors per jumping event, and 2 relay teams for each team. However there will be no throwing events due to reconstruction and renovations. Meet starts at 4:30pm, brief coaches meeting at 4:15pm. Track location is Mt. Zion High School 280 Eureka Church Road 30117. Email Coach Johnson for questions at dyeravis.johnson@carrollcountyschools.com All checks should be made out to Mt. Zion Middle School Track and be brought to the coaches meeting. If mailing checks please mail them to Mt. Zion Middle School (Mailing address: 132 Eagle Drive, Carrollton, GA 30117). Lastly, concessions will be sold.

General Information

1. Admission is $5.

2. The Track has eight lanes, is all-weather, and utilizes Fast Feet timing.

3. Starting blocks will be provided, and you may bring your own.

4. Each school may enter 4 athletes in each individual event and 2 relay teams. 

5. Each athlete can only participate in Maximum of 4 total events.

6. For jumping events, the 1st attempt will be measured. 2nd and 3 attempts will have minimums. 

7. All heats and flights will be set according to times, distances, and heights from entry form. Please be honest. 

8. We will be scoring 8 places. 

9. Spectators will only be allowed on the track during field events. 

10. Results will be posted live atfastfeet.us

11. The control tent is for timers and pickers only. No coach should enter unless summoned over the PA system. 

12. Athletes competing in events held at the same time should report to both the Field Judge and the Clerk of the Course. Running events take precedence over field events and vertical events take precedence over horizontal events.

Bus Parking:  Buses should drop off athletes at the stadium then park in the same parking lot. Check-In: Check in will be located in the center of the field.



SCHEDULE


Track will open at 3:45 and close at 4:20

Coaches meeting will take place at 4:10

4:20 will be the final call for field events

1st round field events: boys high jump, boys pole vault, boys triple jump, girls long jump

2nd round field events: girls high jump, girls pole vault, girls triple jump, boys long jump

4:30 running events: (rolling schedule, girls followed by boys)
