Meet Information
Thank you for joining us at our home polar bear meet this year!
The Heritage Track & Field team is collecting cereal for the Leesburg shelter and invite athletes from other schools to contribute also if they would like to. Cereal and any other non-perishable breakfast items can be placed in the boxes in the ticket booth as you arrive.
We are hosting Senior Night at the conclusion of the 4x400 meter relay so we ask that teams are respectful of this as they are leaving. Everyone should clear the field prior to the 4x400 Relay to aid us in celebrating our 25 Seniors with their families. We are doing it at the conclusion of the meet as a courtesy to other teams so we do not delay the conclusion of the meet. Of course, anyone who wishes to join us in cheering on these athletes is certainly welcome!!
A reminder from our Athletic Directors and Meet Timer: The only athletes who should be on the infield are those who are checking in for their upcoming event or who are competing in the current event on the track. There should be no electronics, balls, frisbees, etc. on the infield at any time for safety reasons.
Broad Run and Briar Woods will be helping us with field events and clerking duties. We will also have managers and student athletes helping with raking, hurdles, etc. but anyone who wants to jump in and help would be greatly appreciated!
