Three national-level meets on the docket this weekend for local athletes.

GREENSBORO, Nc. - Despite having few representatives at Nationals, the athletes from Florida definitely showed out this weekend in front of the entire nation. Taking the highest honors of the weekend were South Dade Express and Tyrese Cooper who both took home national titles.

Here are the Virginia athletes who have entered into the New Balance Outdoor Nationals thus far. 

70-plus heading to N.C. this weekend. La Salle's Salisbury competing in adidas Dream Mile in Boston on Friday. Junior teammate Matt Bouthillette heading to Seattle for Saturday' s Brooks PR Invite.

Who are favorites to earn All-American honors this season?

There is absolutely no denying that Virginia is home to the very best athletes in the entire nation this year. So dominant in fact that we as a state could sweep the boys' 100-5K and the 110H, Long Jump,Triple Jump, and many of the relays as well. The girls are no slouches either with US #1 relay teams and of course some really great distance, hurdle, and sprint talent.

With New Balance Nationals Outdoor (Fri-Sun) and Brooks PR (Sat.) there will be plenty to watch for this weekend. Here's the top girls storylines to look forward to.
