19-year-old Trayvon Bromell became the fastest teenager in history when he ra 9.84 in the 100m prelims at the USATF Senior National Championships. He is the 10th-fastest man of all-time and the fourth-fastest American. He finished runner-up to Tyson Gay in the finals to become the first teenager to represent Team USA at the World Championships in the 100m. The Florida native just finished his sophomore year at Baylor.

Yesterday, I traveled from Portland, Oregon, to Paris, France, from USA Outdoor nationals to here to compete in a few European meets. The slightly warm lobby of this hotel feels a lot more comfortable than the cramped red-eye flight I caught yesterday.
