Meet Information
The adidas Grand Prix hosts the best professional track and field athletes in the world at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island in New York City on Saturday, June 13 as part of the Diamond League championship series. The New York edition features a twist, as the nation's top prep milers and 100 meter sprinters perform on the same track as their idols in the deepest races of the year - the adidas Dream Mile and Dream 100.
Eight athletes will compete in the Dream 100 and 14 athletes will compete in the Dream Mile. The following meets will count as auto qualifiers, where the winner will receive an automatic bid to the event:
March 26 - Raleigh Relays
March 27 - Azusa Meet of Champions (Mile qualifier ONLY)
April 18 - Kansas Relays
April 18 - New York Relays
May 23 - Golden South Classic
If you win, you are in. There is no time standard for qualification. The rest of the fields will be filled by at-large bids based on personal bests and competition records. All qualifiers will be flown in to the meet with all expenses paid for the weekend, including flight, hotel and food costs.
