Since 2004 the Nike Cross Nationals has brought the fastest high school cross country teams and athletes in the country to Portland, Oregon to compete for the ultimate prize – a national championship. In its 11th year, the Nike Cross Nationals will be contested for the first time ever at Glendoveer Golf Course.

It is the La Salle Academy (RI) Boys first appearance in history at NXN. Despite the minimal experience, they didn't just come here to enjoy the experience. The goal for the 3rd ranked team in the nation is to win.
The storied CBA program is quite familiar with NXN and looks to use that to its advantage come Saturday as the eye a national crown. This team that got 2nd last year was ranked #1 to start the season, but hasn't had the season many expected and currently are projected to place 12th in Portland. The CBA boys have other plans, to bring back the star trophy back to Lincroft, NJ.
