Kirstin Sandreuter dominate the girls individual race from the gun clocking the fastest time of the day 18:37.96, while on the boys side Ellsworth senior Dan Curts repeated as champion with the best time of the day, 16:09.22. The MDI girls won for the 3rd year in a row tallying 49 points while the Cape boys came from behind in the final half mile to edge Ellsworth 49-61.
