With Thanksgiving, football, and Black Friday shopping taking over this weekend, it means it is time for Foot Locker National qualifiers to be run.
This weekend the top girls from 13 states will compete for 10 spots in the Footlocker national championship. Here are some of the top girl participants slated to compete.
The official start of the holiday season kicks in with Thanksgiving festivities and shopping galore to the delight of many consumers. It is also the final stop for many of Illinois’ emerging and elite cross country runners who are trying to make a name for themselves for the upcoming track season.

The crisp Saturday morning started with sunny skies with a light brisk wind and above average climes for Kenosha, Wisconsin. It was time for Illinois boys and girls to take back the respect that they lacked from a regional and national perspective this season.
