Brooks PR Invitational 2013

The Brooks PR Invitational brings together the nations top track and field athletes from across the country to compete at the Dempsey Center in Seattle, Washington, one of the fastest indoor tracks in the nation. The meet consists of seven events the 60 meter dash, 60 meter hurdles, 400 meter dash, 800 meter run, one mile run, and two mile run. The home state is well represented sending the most of any state, 20 athletes to nearby Seattle. Leading up to the meet we will spotlight these talented runners.

The deadline is coming up quick for you to submit your videos, showing your humor in skill in commentary on ordinary every day events. Enter by January 31, 2013 to win!

Tretez Kinnaird and Jacob Thomson have received invitations to the Brooks PR Invitational being held in Seattle, Washington.

Eligible to all high school students! Upload a 60 second video commentating on anything by January 31st to the Brooks PR Contest Page. Two winners will be picked by Brooks for an all-expenses paid trip to Seattle, where the student reporter will work with Flotrack and MileSplit to commentate the Brooks PR Invitational at the UW Dempsey Track. The reporter will get to work side-by-side with Flotrack and Milesplit, see the fastest HS Runners in the country competing, and get a bunch of Brooks Running gear!

While the indoor season is heating up around the state, a number of Michigan athletes have been chosen to compete in one of the fastest meets in the nation, the Brooks PR Invitational.

The contest is over, the entries have been uploaded, and the Brooks council has chosen two winners.

The Buckeye State will be represented in Seattle at the end of the month when Sydney Leiher of Beavercreek heads out to the prestigious Brooks PR Invitational.   Select elite athletes were sent a golden ticket and invited to the event to compete against the nations top performers. Sydney will compete in the One Mile Run along with twelve of the nations top milers. 

The Buckeye State will be represented in Seattle at the end of the month when Theodore Foster of Spire Academy heads out to the prestigious Brooks PR Invitational.   Select elite athletes were sent a golden ticket and invited to the event to compete against the nations top performers. Theodore will compete in the 400m Dash along with six of the nations top quarter-milers. 

The Buckeye State will be represented in Seattle at the end of the month when Sam Wharton of Tippecanoe heads out to the prestigious Brooks PR Invitational.   Select elite athletes were sent a golden ticket and invited to the event to compete against the nations top performers. Wharton will compete in the Two Mile Run along with sixteen of the nations top distance runners. 

The Buckeye State will be represented in Seattle at the end of the month when Jacob Dumford of Westerville North heads out to the prestigious Brooks PR Invitational.   Select elite athletes were sent a golden ticket and invited to the event to compete against the nations top performers. Dumford will compete in the 800m Run along with eleven of the nations top half-milers.   

The Buckeye State will be represented in Seattle at the end of the month when Therese Haiss of Solon heads out to the prestigious Brooks PR Invitational.   Select elite athletes were sent a golden ticket and invited to the event to compete against the nations top performers. Haiss will compete in the 800m Run along with ten of the nations top half-milers. 

12 Texas Athletes are expected to participate in the prestigous Brooks PR Invitational. Now in its third year, Brooks is bringing together the fastest high school athletes from around the country to compete on one of the fastest tracks in the nation, the Dempsey. The goal? Crush your PR by taking your run to a whole new level. The reward? New records, bragging rights, and the almighty golden shoe.

Kennedy-Cleveland heads out to the prestigious Brooks PR Invitational.   Select elite athletes were sent a golden ticket and invited to the event to compete against the nations top performers. Theodore will compete in the 400m Dash along with six of the nations top quarter-milers.
