Update: Noah finished 7th in the 1500m in a PR of 4:51.78. The top 6 finishers were competing as 12 year olds. Noah Castro the 10 year old phenom has added a national runner-up to his impressive resume this morning in the 11-12 boys 3000m in a personal best time of 10:11 at the USATF National Junior Olympics at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro North Carolina. He competes in the 11-12 age group due to his 12/31 birthday and according to the USATF rules.

Mustaqeem Williams did it again at the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships! Not only did Williams win his second USATF Junior Olympic national title of the weekend, but also made history twice in establishing a new Virginia high school state record in the 100 meter dash by beating the old all-time best performance of 10.37 from Tyrone Turpin of Heritage (Lynchburg) set back in 1990.
