The National Scholastic Sports Foundation is an organization dedicated to the support of junior age (sub-20) and high school track and field. Aside from offering support to the USATF Junior Track and Field and selected high school track and field meets, we own and operate the NB Indoor Nationals, the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, and the Great American Cross Country Festival. A good number of Floridians will be headed to Greensboro, NC this weekend for New Balance Outdoors. We will have a large team there on-site coverage through our MileSplit national team, including our own Todd Grasley, Jeff Adams, and Chris Sumner.

Waterville's Bethanie Brown added her name to the record brooks once again with a 7th place finish in the 5k at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals. Brown clocked 17:11.13, which bettered the previous record of Erica Jesseman by 40 seconds

  Holy Cross Junior Jacob Thomson finished as the National Runner-Up in the 5000 Meter Run tonight at New Balance Outdoor Nationals in North Carolina.  

Williamsport’s Evan Hardy and Boonsboro’s J.R. Lowery both had sensational senior seasons in outdoor track and field this spring — Hardy on the track and Lowery in the field. (via )

The Smiths Station TC competed Friday in the 1000m Swedish Medley at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals winning the event.  2012 is the first year the event has been competed at NBON.

    Top 8 finishers from Virginia in Thursday's events at the 2012 New Balance Outdoor Nationals. Battlefield sophomore Galissia Cause won the emerging elite girls' discus competition at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals with a personal best mark of 129'9".

    A list of top 8 finishers from Virginia in Friday's events at the 2012 New Balance Outdoor Nationals. The Cosby girls won a national title in the sprint medley relay, while David Johnson of Charlottesville in the triple jump and the Westfield boys in the 4x800 were national runners-up.  

The latest edition of New Balance Outdoor Nationals is in the books with Kentucky seeing our biggest group ever compete with one of our biggest successes ever as well.
