3A girls had an exceptionally close finish at this year's state meet. There's certainly potential for it to turn out that way again next year. The format is established by now, so let's take a spin through the top teams at this year's state meet, then add any other teams necessary for consideration.
1. Holy Family - As a school, Holy Family had won 11 state titles going into this fall. None of those were in a running sport. This fall's cross country team changed all of that. Lindsey and Katie Chavez come back, as does freshman #4 Olivia Bartoletti. They'll need to fill the hole left by Danielle Medearis, but the team should be back among the top contenders again next fall.
