Let's take a quick look at this year's top teams in 3A, plus perhaps a sleeper team or two, to get an idea of how things look for next year.
1. University - The Bulldogs put it all together for a state title on October 27. But the guys doing the scoring were three seniors and a sophomore. And the gap between #4 and #5 was massive (1:20). So, even though University figures to have a couple of rising freshmen who could help, it's probably a bit optimistic to project them as a title contender again for next year. Isaiah Dilka will need to carry a big load of leadership without the familiar surroundings of Coles, Eberhard, and Roberts.
